Goals The State of Utah Industries of the Future Initiative (the Initiative) will help Utah industries: Improve their competitiveness and profitability by improving the energy efficiency, environmental performance and productivity of industrial facilities, processes and operations. Remove inefficiencies and materials waste that lower value to customers and reduce profit and reinvestment. Reduce their impact on natural resources by lowering the risk of incorporating new materials and energy efficiencies technologies. Form partnerships and alliances within Utah and with the Department of Energy Office of Industrial Technologies

The Utah Industries of the Future Plan is currently being developed for FY 03/04.
